We usually arrive at the trailhead between 11AM and 11:30AM. We will arrive back at the bunkhouse around 3PM depending on what hike we do.What should I wear?
Please come dressed in appropriate clothing. Layering is the best practice in the outdoors as it allows you to manage your body temperature. You can check out our “Equipment List” for more info. Be sure to have an extra warm jacket for when you are taking a break. Wear synthetic clothing such as wool, polyester, down, Capilene materials as they wick sweat away from the body and dry out quickly. Avoid cotton at all costs. Is it safe?
Our guides are trained to mitigate the dangers of the backcountry. While we cannot take 100% of the risk out of the outdoors, the likelihood of any incident is very, very low.How difficult is it the hike?
The hike will be catered to the overall experience and fitness of the group. For the most part, expect a very moderate hike at a pace where you can still converse with your friends and family. No huffing and puffing here! How many people are in a group?
We offer a maximum ratio of 6 hikers per guide for snowshoeing adventures with a maximum of 6 hikers in a group. Are there age restrictions?
As long as you are approved for moderate activity and/or you have a parent/guardian signature , you are good to go! This activity is for all ages and experience levels. The perfect way to get outdoors without the need to be in top-shape.GENERAL POLICIES
