October Snow Fall

There was a reported 19.7″ of snowfall in the month of October, 10″ of it came on the October 30th snow storm. If we keep up the current weather pattern, we should be using crampons and snowshoes before we know it.

Winter Weather

The Winter Weather is here and the summit of Mt. Washington should stay covered in snow/ice/rime for the majority of the next 7 months. Wind speeds are often hurricane force even in the “Fall” months. Sign up for our November 27th climb and experience what its like to summit Mt. Washington the hard way!

SNOW!

Mt. Washington is getting their first snow of the season! I don’t expect it to stick around very long but it’s a sure sign we are heading in the right direction. Dust off your crampons and ice axe. The climbing season is right around the corner. Join us for a two day skills course to keep you safe in the backcountry this winter!
